For sixteen years, Virginia Rain was an educator with an AA degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Her passion then, as is her passion now, is in sharing her knowledge, and in helping others to realize their full potential; developmentally with her students, and with clients today aesthetically and spiritually. As a professional aesthetician and permanent makeup artist, Virginia’s goal is to nurture and cultivate each client’s sense of self and beauty. In 2002, after several years at a local spa, Virginia tapped her entrepreneurial spirit and launched RICA, Inc ( now Virginia Rain ). Via word of mouth, satisfied clients beget more satisfied clients and today "Virginia Rain" is a thriving day spa, a small oasis of healing and beauty in the heart of West Seattle’s Admiral District. Virginia Rain has a gentle, healing touch. Her vision is to empower clients with skin care and beauty education as well as to enhance self-esteem throughout the process. Training and Education
Virginia apprenticed for Patty Small, Seattle’s first and most renowned permanent make-up artist. Patty is now retired after a quarter century of service and education. Virginia is honored to have been one of Patty’s students and continues to use Patty’s special techniques in her work. In addition, Virginia is Seattle's first certified Associate Pranic Healer. She has been a student of Master Stephen Co since 2007.
