What is permanent make-up?
Micropigmentation — also known as permanent make-up is a form of cosmetic tattooing, and is very popular right now. Extremely tiny amounts of natural pigments are inserted into dermal layer of the skin. The result is "Permanent Make-up", a desired effect that lasts for years.
Permanent Make-Up FAQs
Permanent make-up makes it possible to look better around the clock and be less self conscious. When you look better, you feel better. Plus, you'll have more time and money to spend on the things you desire - time with your family, leisure activities, and that much deserved beauty sleep.

Am I a good candidate for permanent make-up?
Men (yes!) and women who want to look their best all the time are great candidates for permanent make-up. It's perfect for busy people, people with light or sparse lashes, people with oily skin, and sufferers of alopecia.
Cosmetic tattoo is a good choice for you if you are very active, don't wish to reapply your makeup every day, or frequently engage in activities like hot yoga, running, and swimming. It can also be a very good choice if poor vision or poor hand control has affected your ability to apply make-up. Permanent makeup is also helpful to those with alopecia or cosmetic allergies or chemotherapy side effects. Tattooing can help fix a lip outline or eyebrow marred by a scar.
That said, not everyone is a candidate for micropigmentation. If you are prone to scarring problems such as hypertrophic scarring or red, raised keloid formation, micropigmentation may produce such untoward scarring. If you have significant allergies, there is a chance you could have a reaction to the pigments. A spot test can help determine how you will react.
REASONS FOR PERMANENT MAKE-UP:
1- Convenience. You just need more time.
2- You have sensitive skin or allergies.
3- You wear glasses or contact lenses or have had Lasik surgery.
4- You have arthiritis or painful hands.
5- You have difficulty applying make-up or you don't like the way it smears and disappears.
6- Aging changes the shape of your brows, lips, or eyes.
7- Active, outdoor lifestyles.
8- If you like a natural "no-make-up" look.
9- Hair loss from alopecia, chemotherapy, accidents, burns, or cosmetic surgery.
10- Color correction.

May I choose the color and shape?
Absolutely. In fact, nothing is done without your approval. First, I work with you to design the most attractive style and shape based on your facial features and personal preference. Then, we choose the perfect color according to your skin tone. I have a large variety of beautiful colors.

Do the pigments pose allergy problems?
I only use hypoallergenic pigments. There have been very few reactions to the pigments in permanent make-up history. Some doctors recommend that people with allergies have permanent cosmetic procedures because they can avoid cosmetic products that they are sensitive to. If your medical history shows you are highly allergic to many substances, a patch test is suggested.

Is it painful?
Topical anesthetic ointment is very effective for my procedures. Everyone experiences pain differently. Most people experience some discomfort, from very mild to moderate, comparable to tweezing. This varies according to each individual's pain threshold.

How long does the procedure take?
Times vary with each individual . The average time is two hours for each procedure. There is no room for mistakes. I take my time. I feel it is a privilege and very sacred working on individual's faces.

What's the recovery time?
Some people receiving permanent eyeliner and full lip cover may briefly experience swelling. You can go back to work right after the procedure. But you will have some swelling on the lip and eyeliner. The color looks 20-30% stronger than the final result. It takes about 7 to 10 days for the skin to completely heal.

Is it safe?
YES, I strictly follow the OSHA guidelines for disease control. All sterilization and sanitary guidelines are met which make permanent cosmetics completely safe. These guidelines include the following:
-
All needles are new and sterile for each client. I use only disposable needles and machine parts.
-
New gloves are used on each client and changed during the procedure when needed.
-
Clean pillowcases and protection bibs are used for each client.
-
Treatment area is clean and free from other contaminants.

Before and After
Anyone who wants to look their best with the least amount of time will love these procedures, which enable them to go camping, swimming, play tennis, sleep, or even cry without worrying about runny smudged eyeliner or wiped-off eyebrows or lip liner. Lip color provides more defined lips and helps to prevent lip color from bleeding. The procedure can modify and enhance the size and shape of your lips as well as the color.
